Meet Our Executive Leadership
Janet is a nurse consultant, mentor, educator, and inspirational leader. She has over ten years of experience in the healthcare care system and leadership experience. Her expertise ranges from acute care to post-acute care (Long-term care settings).
She is currently the CEO of Preferred Long-Term Care Consulting (PLTCC). Her 1st degree is in biochemistry, and she worked as a biochemist/lead scientist. She got her 2nd degree in bachelor science in nursing (BSN) from the Queens University of Charlotte and her MSN from Western Governors University (WGU). She will soon complete her 2nd Master's in MBA healthcare management from WGU.
Also, she is pursuing her DNP from Grand Canyon University. Janet has precepted and mentored many nurses in clinical practice. She has a passion for geriatric care, skilled nursing, long term care by promoting and ensuring patient-centered care through evidenced- based practice and clinical research.
Janet enjoys reading, watching movies, traveling, spending time with her family, and dancing in her leisure time.
